ARICA
a toxic waste scandal

Directors: Lars Edman & William Johansson Kalén

Producers: Andreas Rocksén & William Johansson Kalén

UK Co-Producers:Andy Jones & Ellie Smith

Genre:  Documentary / Justice

Our first co-production with Laika Film in Sweden is the result of 15 years work by Lars and William. Their first film 'Toxic Playground' led to an un-precedented court case in Sweden, with 796 victims of toxic waste poisoning in Chile taking a Swedish multinational mining company to court. Arica follows that journey towards justice.

We co-produced the film and attached impact campaign and continue to work in solidarity as people in Arica fight for justice, and efforts continue for people to hold companies to account, wherever in the world they may operate.

See ARICA film website to find out more.
